There is a significant difference related to how people perceive the Black American, and who we really are. It doesn't matter if one is Black, White, Hispanic, Native American, or Asian, people view us in different ways. In this book I focus on the good, the bad, and the ugly, and ways to explore the intelligence, talents, and strengths of my people. My intent is to incite the intelligence of Black Americans, and display a perspective that my people can use to build a powerful struggle that can take us to our highest potential as humans.

This book is an autobiographical textbook, where I focus on how the poor inner city child developed some of the skills to survive and feel comfortable in a poverty household, where the father is an alcoholic. I address the thinking related to how the child accepts juvenile delinquency, and continues the behavior in spite of repeated arrests. I focus on how someone is introduced to drugs, and some of the thinking that allows one to accept the usage of an intoxicant. I address the progression toward chemical dependency after the first euphoric experience. I go deep into how the full blown heroin addicted person thinks, the dangerous life he lives from a reality perspective, then I focus on how to overcome drug addiction “This is the Escape”

This is about how drug addiction begins, from the first high to full-blown addiction. There is an

extensive focus on how to treat addiction from detoxification through inpatient rehabilitation.

I follow through with how to use the sober human mind

in combination with a support system to arrest and keep the addiction in a harmless condition for the rest of one’s life. This book is designed for the drug-addicted population, parents, schools, churches, etc.
